While the majority of bullous pemphigoid (BP) cases occur without an identifiable cause, up to 15% of cases may be linked to a distinguishable precipitant, such as a medication. This phenomenon, known as drug-associated bullous pemphigoid (DABP), has been linked to a growing list of pharmacological agents.
