A modern treatment developed by Swiss biopharmaceutical company Idorsia, known as the 'Swiss sleep pill,' is QUVIVIQ (daridorexant), a dual orexin receptor antagonist (DORA) that works differently than traditional sedatives by targeting the brain's wakefulness system.
