However, reports from September 2025 confirm that manufacturer Scope Health has launched OPTASE® HYLO® FORTE, indicating the product is very much still in production, though perhaps under a new brand name or distribution channel in some markets.

While HYLO-FORTE is formulated for intensive lubrication of severely dry eyes, using any eye drop excessively could mask more serious underlying conditions, potentially delaying necessary treatment. The manufacturer advises consulting a healthcare professional if you need to apply the drops frequently.
