In 2015, the veterinary medicine Fucithalmic® Vet was relaunched under a new name, Isathal®. This means that the product known as Fucithalmic Vet is the exact same medication, containing the same active ingredient, fusidic acid, as Isathal. While the name changed as part of a rebranding effort, the formula and application remained identical for treating bacterial eye infections in pets.
